Work: Provided digital media, communication and PR consulting in order to devise a clear strategy to help grow the 3PATAS brand, attract clients and boost sales of their products. Notably, 3PATAS have just won two of Spain's prestigious Delta Awards with their 3x3 table and have gained attention in the world's most respected design blogs and magazines.
3PATAS is a creative product design studio made up of Carla Neila, Isabel González and Santiago Hermosín. The studio is based in Barcelona, Spain and was born in 2010 with 3 strong projects presented at Super Studio Piu, Milan Design Week 2010 and the Casa Pasarela fair in Madrid.
Since then, 3PATAS have worked hard to innovate within product, furniture, lighting and interior design, developed stands and had corporate identity projects. They’ve also collaborated with important lighting companies by providing engineering and technical assistance services. Last year they were selected to exhibit at the Nude Generation exhibition which showcases up and coming designers as part of Valencia Design Week 2011. They received an outstanding response, with Spanish magazine 'Diseño Interior' naming them as the emerging talent and one of Spain's largest newspapers 'El País', naming their 3x3 table as one of the highlights of Valencia Design Week.
With the ball rolling in 2012, 3PATAS has recently presented at Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair and have also unveiled new collaborations at the Frankfurt Design Fair 2012. With the interior design of a slick new restaurant in Barcelona soon to be revealed and more exciting projects on their way, be sure to keep your eyes on these fast emerging talents.

The Emotion Lab was a turning point in my career which gave me excellent experience in setting up a design studio in a multicultural environment. It was here that my vision became more business focussed and I came to understand that business success does not rely solely on great design. I directed our communication, PR and marketing strategy as well as actively managing the studio and overseeing the design process. We were published in the leading design blogs and magazines around the world. Relationships were built with opinion leaders while a solid base of followers were attracted to our various social media platforms.
The Emotion Lab was formed by four designers from three distinct continents - Tom Allen (Australia), Christian Vivanco (Mexico), Yago Rodriguez (Spain) and Marta Falcón (Spain).
Our unique multicultural perspective stemming from such diverse experiences, traditions and approaches, offered a simple, honest and functional approach to design, centred on the generation of rich, lasting emotions. Our ideas responded to a deep observation of human behaviour and as a result we found solutions based on the present and future emotional needs of the user.
We studied intangible links and continued investigating until we found tangible solutions which improved the interaction and discourse between objects, brands and people. Our objective was to make responsible proposals for our society, without losing the emotive aspect; searching for hope and solutions which pointed towards a better future. Creating meaningful, emotive experiences is vital for the success of a companies' products and services; for products which only satisfy usable, intuitive and functional considerations are no longer sufficient. More than designing objects, we wanted to generate and provoke emotions and experiences which you would never forget.
