My ability to adapt and integrate to different cultures, learn languages and relate to different markets and backgrounds is also a key advantage used when creating or streamlining positive product and service experiences. I believe passion, integrity and hard work are the key ingredients for successful projects.When I think design, I think business.
For me, design is about thinking strategically and creating compelling stories. I
work particularly well with companies focussing on sustainable design
and business practice and have an entrepreneurial flair which is evident
in the way I approach projects. I have an interest in Social Innovation
through the use of Design Thinking. Recently I've been consulting to a number of businesses on Digital Marketing, Communication and Design strategy.
I co-founded The Emotion Lab, a Barcelona based industrial design studio between 2009-2011.
Our objective was to generate and provoke emotions and product experiences which you would never forget. We provided a future design vision which enhanced and built brands while presenting a number of innovative concepts to the world. It was here that I began to focus more on Marketing, Communications and Business Strategy. Our designs and concepts were published in the world's most important design magazines and blogs.Experience working on projects with companies big and small.
I've worked alongside companies like Hewlett
Packard, Santa & Cole, Cosmic (Roca Bathrooms), Almerich and
Lucirmás.
My work has been exhibited internationally.
Salone Internazionale del Mobile, Milan (2012), Valencia Design Week (2010) and 100% Design London (2008).I have a solid, design-focussed education.
With a background in Industrial Design I hold a Master in Product Design at Elisava, Escola Superior de Disseny, Barcelona (2007) and graduated with Distinction at Queensland University of Technology (QUT, 2005), with a Bachelor in Built Environment, Industrial Design. I am an Associate Member of the Design Institute of Australia. In March 2013, I will return to Australia in search of exciting work opportunities.
I will be open to new, exciting work opportunities where I can apply my skills and be pushed to learn and achieve more.
